
Non-Certified Medical Assistant- Outpatient Gynecology

- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care in the Outpatient Gynecology department.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients during their appointments, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples, and assisting with exams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff by following infection control procedures.
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Continuously educate and inform patients on procedures, treatments, and medication as directed by healthcare providers.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Attend and actively participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient flow.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Non-Certified Medical Assistant At Orlando Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Perform The Duties Of A Medical Assistant.
Relevant Experience: While Certification Is Not Required For This Position, Relevant Experience In A Medical Setting, Especially In Gynecology, Is Highly Desirable. This May Include Previous Work As A Medical Assistant, Receptionist, Or Other Related Roles.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Non-Certified Medical Assistant In An Outpatient Gynecology Setting, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Important For A Non-Certified Medical Assistant In An Outpatient Gynecology Setting. This Will Help The Candidate Understand And Accurately Document Patient Information And Communicate With The Healthcare Team.
