  1. Conducting neurodiagnostic tests: The Neurotechnologist III will be responsible for performing a variety of neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEG), nerve conduction studies, brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP), and somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP).
  2. Operating state-of-the-art equipment: The individual in this role will be responsible for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This includes ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
  3. Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions: The Neurotechnologist III will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This may include performing tests, gathering and analyzing data, and communicating results to the healthcare team.
  4. Maintaining accurate records: It will be the responsibility of the Neurotechnologist III to maintain accurate and detailed records of all neurodiagnostic tests performed. This includes documenting patient information, test results, and any other relevant data.
  5. Ensuring patient safety and comfort: The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during neurodiagnostic testing. This may include explaining procedures, answering questions, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry advancements: The Neurotechnologist III will be expected to stay current with advancements in the field of neurotechnology and incorporate new techniques and procedures into their work.
  7. Training and mentoring: The individual in this role may be responsible for training and mentoring other neurotechnologists, as well as students and residents, to ensure the highest quality of care and accurate test results.
  8. Adhering to ethical and legal standards: The Neurotechnologist III will be expected to adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of their work, including patient confidentiality, safety protocols, and professional conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics, Neuroscience, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist (R.neuro.t) Or Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (R.eeg.t) Through Abret.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Neurotechnologist, With Proficiency In Performing And Interpreting Eeg, Emg, And Evoked Potential Studies.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology, And Common Neurological Disorders.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Patients And Their Families.
