- Provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, utilizing knowledge and skills in neuroscience.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition, including vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques.
- Document all patient care and related information accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on advancements in neuroscience.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other staff members.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and compassionate care towards patients and their families.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neuroscience Unit, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Certification In Neuroscience Nursing (Cnrn) From The American Association Of Neuroscience Nurses (Aann) Or Willingness To Obtain Within 1 Year Of Hire.
Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Caring For Patients With Neurological Disorders, Such As Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, And Spinal Cord Injury.
