In this role, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders by performing complex neurodiagnostic procedures and providing accurate results to our physicians.   1. Perform complex neurodiagnostic procedures: Conduct a variety of neurodiagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
  2. Provide accurate results: Ensure accurate and timely recording of test results, maintain quality control standards, and report any abnormalities to physicians.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and assist in developing treatment plans.
  4. Maintain equipment and supplies: Ensure proper functioning of equipment and maintain adequate inventory of supplies needed for neurodiagnostic procedures.
  5. Educate patients and families: Communicate procedures and answer questions to help patients and their families understand the diagnostic process and alleviate any fears or concerns.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols: Follow established safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements: Keep up-to-date with new techniques, technologies, and procedures in neurodiagnostics to provide the best possible care to patients.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation: Record patient demographics, procedure details, and other relevant information in electronic medical records.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring: Provide guidance and training to new neurodiagnostic technologists, students, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  10. Demonstrate exceptional patient care: Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion while interacting with patients and their families during the diagnostic process.
  11. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures: Follow all organizational policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
  13. Maintain confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  14. Attend meetings and conferences: Participate in departmental meetings and attend relevant conferences and workshops to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. Eeg T.) Through Abret

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Neurodiagnostic Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Neurodiagnostic Procedures, Including Evoked Potentials, Intraoperative Monitoring, And Polysomnography

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
