We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual with a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a valid certification from either ASCP or AMT.   1. Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  2. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA and CLIA regulations.
  3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  4. Follow strict quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
  5. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients to provide necessary information and updates on test results.
  6. Document and record all test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  8. Keep up-to-date with new developments and advancements in laboratory science and technology.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
  10. Participate in training and education programs to improve knowledge and skills.
  11. Assist with inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies.
  12. Maintain all necessary records and documentation for accreditation and regulatory purposes.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help identify areas for improvement in laboratory processes.
  15. Stay current with all necessary certifications and licensure requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field, Or An Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Through A Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp Or Amt).

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Proficiency In Performing And Interpreting Laboratory Tests.
