  1. Perform a wide range of laboratory tests related to immunology, including but not limited to antibody detection, immune response evaluation, and immunodeficiency screening.
  2. Ensure all laboratory tests are conducted accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and procedures.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition for accurate and timely test results.
  4. Analyze test results and prepare reports for physicians, accurately documenting all findings and observations.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, providing valuable insights and recommendations based on test results.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  7. Stay updated on current advancements and developments in the field of immunology, incorporating new techniques and technologies into laboratory practices when appropriate.
  8. Train and supervise laboratory assistants and other staff members, ensuring they are following proper procedures and protocols.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, answering any questions or concerns they may have about their tests.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory tests and procedures performed.
  13. Act as a mentor and resource for colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to maintain compliance and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
  15. Attend and actively participate in department meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science, Immunology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With A Focus On Immunology.

  • Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Laboratory Tests, Including Elisa, Flow Cytometry, And Immunofluorescence Assays.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Interpret And Report Test Results.
