- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently using state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Review and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and quality control measures are met.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all laboratory tests and procedures performed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals regarding test results and any necessary follow-up.
- Monitor and order laboratory supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of laboratory testing.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Train and supervise laboratory assistants and other support staff.
- Conduct research and participate in scientific studies to contribute to the advancement of laboratory science.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and customer service.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Through A Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Testing Procedures And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Maintain Laboratory Instruments.
Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
