- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pediatric hospitalist practice at our Downtown Orlando location.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to pediatric patients.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the practice team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage the practice budget, including forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and supervise new staff members as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Act as a liaison between the practice and other departments within the healthcare organization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to the practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address any concerns or issues related to practice operations.
- Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for the pediatric hospitalist program.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to improve practice efficiency.
- Represent the practice in meetings and conferences with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Operational Processes And Procedures Within A Hospital Setting, Specifically In The Pediatric Department.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
Demonstrated Experience In Strategic Planning, Budgeting, And Resource Management To Ensure Efficient And Effective Operations.
