As the Manager of Patient Access, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they enter our facility.   1. Lead and manage a team of patient access representatives, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service to patients.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve and streamline the patient access process, with a focus on increasing efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  3. Oversee the scheduling and registration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient experience, from admission to discharge.
  5. Monitor and analyze patient access metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance overall performance.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training to team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in patient access management, and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  8. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and other departments to address any concerns or issues related to the patient access process.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and external agencies to facilitate efficient and accurate insurance verification and authorization processes.
  10. Foster a culture of patient advocacy and customer service excellence among the patient access team, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Healthcare Insurance Plans, Billing And Coding Procedures, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Process Improvements And Achieving Financial Targets In Patient Access Operations.
