Orlando Health is currently seeking a Manager of Advanced Practice Providers for our OB/GYN and Women's Health department.   1. Lead and manage a team of advanced practice providers in the OB/GYN and Women's Health department.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality healthcare services for women are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  3. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for advanced practice providers to promote job satisfaction and retention.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of advanced practice providers, providing coaching and feedback as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in OB/GYN and women's health to continually improve service delivery.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  8. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of new advanced practice providers to ensure a strong and capable team.
  9. Develop and manage budgets, including monitoring and controlling expenses related to advanced practice providers.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures related to advanced practice providers and patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Practice Provider Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Current Certification As An Advanced Practice Provider (Aprn Or Pa) In The State Of Florida. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In Providing Advanced Healthcare Services.

  • Experience In Ob/Gyn And Women's Health: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Providing Advanced Practice Services In Ob/Gyn And Women's Health. This Includes Experience In Performing Gynecological Exams, Prenatal And Postpartum Care, And Managing Women's Health Issues.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: The Manager, Advanced Practice Providers Should Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Oversee A Team Of Advanced Practice Providers. This Includes The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Make Important Decisions, And Effectively Communicate With Staff And Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Regulations And Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations, As Well As Compliance Standards, Related To Advanced Practice Providers In The Healthcare Field. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Ensuring That The Department Operates Within Legal And Ethical Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Provide Clear And Concise Instructions, Establish And Maintain Relationships, And Handle Conflicts In A Professional Manner.
