  1. Perform mammography procedures: The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for conducting mammography exams on patients using specialized equipment and following established protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Mammography: Candidates Should Have A Valid And Current Certification In Mammography From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Experience In Breast Imaging: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Mammography Or Breast Imaging Is Preferred. This Includes Performing Screening And Diagnostic Mammograms, Breast Ultrasounds, And Breast Biopsies.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment And Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Mammography Equipment, Including Digital And 3D Imaging Technology. Experience With Pacs (Picture Archiving And Communication System) And Electronic Medical Records Is Also Desirable.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills: Mammography Technologists Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Explain Procedures, And Provide Compassionate Care. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Commitment To Quality And Safety: Candidates Should Have A Strong Commitment To Maintaining High-Quality Standards And Adhering To Safety Protocols. This Includes Proper Positioning And Technique, Ensuring Patient Comfort, And Following Radiation Safety Guidelines. Experience With Quality Assurance And Quality Control Processes Is A Plus.
