- Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and standards of care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer medications, and assist with treatments and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring that all parties are well-informed and involved in the patient's care.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to provide timely and efficient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify and address patient needs and concerns.
- Advocate for patients' rights and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Remain current on developments and trends in nursing practice and healthcare.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor or healthcare team leader.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Cpr Certification
Current Lpn License In The State Of Florida
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Skilled Nursing Facility
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Navigate Computerized Documentation Efficiently.
