- Administer and monitor anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care, including taking vital signs, monitoring patient recovery, and providing post-operative education.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to strict infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including anesthesia administration and patient responses.
- Monitor equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and restocking as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on anesthesia procedures and potential side effects.
- Remain up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in perioperative anesthesia techniques and technology.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and collaborative patient experience.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for perioperative anesthesia.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced LPNs and other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.

- Attend trainings and educational programs as required to maintain licensure and enhance job knowledge and skills.
Valid Lpn License In The State Of Florida: Candidates Must Have A Current And Active Lpn License In The State Of Florida, Ensuring They Meet All Required Educational And Training Requirements.
Certification In Perioperative Nursing: Candidates Should Possess A Certification In Perioperative Nursing, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Providing Care To Patients Undergoing Anesthesia Procedures.
Experience In An Acute Care Setting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In Perioperative Or Anesthesia Care.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures, Including Monitoring Vital Signs, Administering Medications, And Responding To Emergencies.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Candidates Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
