  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care to individuals in need of orthopedic services.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Assist with procedures and treatments, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  7. Educate patients and their families on proper care and management of orthopedic conditions.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
  9. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current on industry developments and best practices.
  11. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License From The State Of Florida: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Lpn License From The State Of Florida In Order To Be Considered For The Position At Orlando Health. This License Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements To Practice As An Lpn In The State.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Orthopedics Or A Related Specialty: Given The Specialized Nature Of The Jewett Orthopedic Institute, Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In Orthopedics Or A Related Specialty. This Experience Should Include Exposure To A Variety Of Orthopedic Procedures And Patient Populations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Lpn At Orlando Health, Candidates Will Be Expected To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record Systems: Orlando Health Utilizes Electronic Medical Record Systems To Maintain Patient Records And Facilitate Communication Among Healthcare Professionals. Candidates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of These Systems In Order To Be Successful In This Role.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: Lpns At Orlando Health Are Responsible For A Variety Of Tasks, Including Administering Medications, Monitoring Patient Vital Signs, And Providing Patient Education.
