- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with digestive health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure that all patient records and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and techniques.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and assist in creating a positive and patient-centered care environment.

Completion Of An Accredited Practical Nursing Program: A Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Must Have Completed An Accredited Nursing Program And Passed The National Council Licensure Examination (Nclex-Pn) In Order To Practice In The State Of Florida.
Current Lpn Licensure In The State Of Florida: Lpns Must Have An Active And Unrestricted License To Practice In The State Of Florida, As Required By The Florida Board Of Nursing.
Experience In Digestive Health: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience Working With Patients Who Have Digestive Health Conditions, Such As Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Previous Work In A Healthcare Setting Or Through Specialized Training.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Lpns Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross. This Certification Ensures That The Lpn Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques, Such As Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr) And The Use Of An Automated External Defibrillator (Aed).
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Key Member Of The Healthcare Team, An Lpn Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Being Able To Communicate Clearly And Compassionately, As Well As Being Able To Work Collaboratively With Others.
