  1. Develop and implement educational programs and training initiatives for the nursing staff, in line with Orlando Health's commitment to exceptional healthcare services.
  2. Work closely with the nursing team to identify learning needs and develop strategies to address them.
  3. Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to engage and educate nursing staff, including presentations, workshops, and simulations.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that training programs are evidence-based and reflect current best practices in nursing.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the healthcare industry, particularly in the field of nursing, and incorporate this knowledge into educational programs.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  7. Provide individualized coaching and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  8. Serve as a resource for nursing staff, answering questions and providing guidance on educational and training opportunities.
  9. Maintain accurate records of training and education provided to nursing staff.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to nursing education and training.
  11. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that education and training align with overall organizational goals and objectives.
  12. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn Licensure: The Candidate Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Education: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Education Is Required, With Preference Given To Candidates With A Master's Degree In Nursing Or Education.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse Is Required, With Experience In Education Or Teaching Preferred.

  • Teaching And Curriculum Development Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Educational Programs And Curricula, As Well As Strong Presentation And Facilitation Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Best Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Policies, And Best Practices, Particularly Related To Nursing Education And Professional Development.
