We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Specialist to join our team in the Operating Room (OR). As a Learning Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support and enhance the skills and knowledge of our OR staff through designing and implementing educational programs and initiatives. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs and initiatives for OR staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  2. Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and design appropriate training materials.
  3. Conduct training sessions and workshops for OR staff, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Assist in the onboarding process for new OR staff, providing training and resources to help them become acclimated to their roles.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in healthcare education, incorporating this knowledge into training programs.
  7. Serve as a resource and mentor for OR staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  8. Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with overall organizational goals and initiatives.
  10. Continuously seek feedback from staff and leadership to assess training needs and make necessary adjustments to programs.
  11. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the OR department.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines in the development and delivery of training programs.
  13. Attend and participate in department and hospital meetings as necessary.
  14. Act as a positive representative of Lake Mary Hospital and Orlando Health, promoting our mission and values in all interactions.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the OR department by identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Psychology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Instructional Design And/Or Teaching Experience
