
Learning Specialist - Clinical Nurse Educator

- Develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for nursing staff, including orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing education.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify and prioritize learning needs and create a training plan to address those needs.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for nursing staff.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical nursing practice and evidence-based standards of care, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and support their professional development.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and deliver interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Partner with external organizations and educational institutions to facilitate clinical placements and other learning opportunities.
- Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures related to nursing education and training.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for nursing staff regarding educational opportunities and career advancement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training and education activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among nursing staff through ongoing support and encouragement.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing, Education, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Nursing And/Or Education
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Florida
Certification As A Clinical Nurse Educator (Cne) Or Nurse Educator (Ne-Bc)
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Experience In Developing And Delivering Educational Programs And Presentations.
