- Design and Develop Innovative Learning Experiences: The Simulation Learning Consultant will be responsible for creating and designing innovative learning experiences that align with the organization's goals and drive growth and development.
- Implement Simulations for Training Purposes: The consultant will be responsible for implementing simulations for training purposes, ensuring that they are effective and engaging for employees.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: The consultant will work closely with stakeholders, such as department heads and subject matter experts, to identify training needs and develop simulations that meet those needs.
- Stay Updated on Simulation Trends: The consultant will be responsible for staying updated on the latest simulation trends and incorporating them into the organization's training programs.
- Assess and Evaluate Simulations: The consultant will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of simulations, making necessary improvements to ensure they meet the desired learning outcomes.
- Provide Consultation and Support: The consultant will provide consultation and support to the organization's trainers and employees, helping them utilize simulations effectively for learning and development.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions: The Simulation Learning Consultant will conduct train-the-trainer sessions to ensure trainers are equipped to use simulations effectively in their training programs.
- Manage Simulation Equipment and Materials: The consultant will be responsible for managing simulation equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available for training purposes.
- Maintain Documentation: The consultant will maintain accurate documentation of all simulations developed and their corresponding effectiveness to inform future training decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: The consultant will continuously strive to improve the learning experience by incorporating feedback, analyzing data, and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
A Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Designing And Developing Simulation Training Programs, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.
Experience In Using Simulation Software And Technology, Such As Simman, To Create Realistic And Effective Training Scenarios.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Healthcare Professionals, Subject Matter Experts, And Technology Teams.
Familiarity With Healthcare Industry Regulations And Accreditation Standards Related To Simulation Training, Such As The Society For Simulation In Healthcare (Ssh) Standards Of Best Practice.
