- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the radiology department at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC).
- Ensure that all radiology procedures are performed accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety measures.
- Train and supervise radiology staff, providing ongoing support, guidance, and feedback to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of radiology supplies and equipment, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in radiology, and implement changes and improvements as necessary.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new radiology staff, providing training and support as necessary.
- Perform radiology procedures as needed, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care.
- Act as a liaison between the radiology department and other departments within the hospital, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Current Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification And State Licensure.
Knowledge Of Current Industry Standards, Regulations, And Best Practices In Radiology Imaging Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Mentor Staff, As Well As Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
