Laboratory Assistant II

1. Perform a variety of laboratory procedures and tests accurately and efficiently.
2. Prepare and process patient samples for testing in accordance with established protocols.
3. Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues when necessary, and report any malfunctions.
4. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
6. Collaborate with other members of the laboratory team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of results.
7. Accurately record and report test results to the appropriate personnel.
8. Adhere to quality control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
