1. Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, according to established protocols and quality standards.
2. Prepare and process laboratory specimens, ensuring proper identification and handling to maintain sample integrity.
3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues as needed, and perform routine maintenance and calibration.
4. Monitor and track inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents, and assist with ordering and restocking as necessary.
5. Collaborate with laboratory staff and medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results, and communicate any discrepancies or concerns.
6. Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
7. Document and record all test results accurately and maintain detailed and organized records for future reference.
8. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
9. Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and other medical staff, and address any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
