- Facilitate the review and approval process for all research studies conducted at Orlando Health by ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines set by the IRB.
- Communicate with researchers and study teams to gather necessary information and documentation for IRB submissions.
- Conduct initial reviews of research protocols to identify any potential non-compliance issues and work with researchers to address and resolve them.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IRB submissions, approvals, and amendments.
- Act as a liaison between the IRB and researchers, providing guidance and support throughout the review process.
- Schedule and attend IRB meetings, take minutes, and assist with the development and distribution of meeting agendas.
- Stay informed about changes in federal regulations and guidelines related to human subjects research and ensure that Orlando Health remains in compliance.
- Provide training and education to researchers and study teams on IRB policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient review and approval of research studies.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IRB process.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Biomedical Sciences.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Institutional Review Boards (Irbs) And Human Subjects Research.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations, As Well As Ethical Principles And Guidelines Related To Human Subjects Research.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
