  1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, reactions, and overall condition during procedures.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure proper and timely patient care.
  4. Document and maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient responses.
  5. Educate patients on procedures and provide pre and post-procedure instructions.
  6. Maintain and operate specialized equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect patients and staff.
  9. Stay current on industry developments and techniques to provide the most advanced care to patients.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  13. Assist with scheduling and coordinating procedures and appointments.
  14. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  15. Act as a resource for colleagues and assist with training and mentoring new staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, Or Cardiovascular Technology Is Required. Additional Certifications Or Specialized Training In Invasive Procedures, Such As Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs), May Also Be Preferred.

  • Experience In Invasive Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As An Invasive Specialist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Invasive Procedures, Such As Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology Studies, And Peripheral Vascular Interventions.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment And Technology: Invasive Specialists Must Be Familiar With And Proficient In Using A Variety Of Equipment And Technology, Including Imaging Equipment, Monitoring Systems, And Catheters. Experience With Specialized Equipment, Such As Intravascular Ultrasound (Ivus) Or Optical Coherence Tomography (Oct), May Also Be Preferred.

  • Strong Technical Skills: Invasive Procedures Are Complex And Require A High Level Of Technical Skill And Dexterity. Candidates Should Have Excellent Hand-Eye Coordination, The Ability To Multitask, And Be Comfortable Working With Their Hands In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking: Invasive Procedures Involve A High Level Of Risk And Precision, So It Is Essential For An Invasive Specialist To Have Strong Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking Skills. They Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Troubleshoot Any Issues Or Complications That May Arise During A Procedure.
