
Invasive Specialist (Tech) I/Paramedic

As an Invasive Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with invasive procedures and providing critical care to patients. - Perform invasive procedures: Conduct cardiac catheterization procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and balloon valvuloplasty, according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Provide critical care: Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during invasive procedures. Administer medications as needed and provide emergency care in the event of a medical emergency.
- Assist with equipment and technology: Set up and operate equipment and technology used during invasive procedures, including imaging equipment, monitors, and sterile instruments. Troubleshoot any technical issues and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: Communicate with patients before, during, and after procedures to explain the process and address any concerns. Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols. Monitor patient's comfort level and provide support and reassurance as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a smooth and efficient procedure. Communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team and assist in implementing necessary interventions.
- Maintain accurate records: Document all procedures, medications, and patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Follow HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Stay current on industry developments: Attend continuing education courses and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards: Follow all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the highest level of patient care. Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Clean and disinfect equipment and work areas before and after each procedure. Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.

Valid Paramedic Certification: The Invasive Specialist (Tech) I/Paramedic Should Possess A Current And Valid Paramedic Certification From An Accredited Institution.
Experience In Invasive Procedures: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience Performing Invasive Procedures In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Emergency Protocols: The Invasive Specialist (Tech) I/Paramedic Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Emergency Protocols And Be Able To Respond Quickly And Effectively In Emergency Situations.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Healthcare Team, The Invasive Specialist (Tech) I/Paramedic Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals.
