  1. Perform invasive procedures: The Invasive Spec Tech III will be responsible for assisting physicians during invasive procedures, including setting up equipment, preparing patients, and monitoring their vital signs.
  2. Provide high-quality patient care: It is the responsibility of the Invasive Spec Tech III to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care during procedures, including monitoring their comfort and responding to any needs or concerns.
  3. Support physicians: The Invasive Spec Tech III will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing support to physicians during procedures and communicating any important information to them.
  4. Maintain equipment: The Invasive Spec Tech III will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly in order to provide safe and effective patient care.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols: It is the responsibility of the Invasive Spec Tech III to follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff during invasive procedures.
  6. Document and record procedures: The Invasive Spec Tech III will be responsible for accurately documenting and recording all procedures and patient information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Train and educate new staff: The Invasive Spec Tech III may be responsible for training and educating new staff members on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: The Invasive Spec Tech III will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and improve processes within the department.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment: The Invasive Spec Tech III will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment after each procedure.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills: The Invasive Spec Tech III will stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, techniques, and best practices in invasive procedures through ongoing education and training.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In An Invasive Specialty Setting, Such As Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Or Interventional Radiology.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Must Be A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (Rces) Through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Invasive Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
