  1. Greet and check in patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer phone calls and schedule appointments accurately and efficiently.
  3. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  4. Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments.
  6. Keep waiting room and front office area clean and organized.
  7. Communicate with patients and families about any changes or delays in appointments.
  8. Assist with medical office tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry.
  9. Handle inquiries and resolve issues from patients and their families with empathy and professionalism.
  10. Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on office procedures and policies.
  11. Adhere to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other front office staff to ensure coverage and support for all patients.
  13. Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of Orlando Health in all interactions.
  15. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Medicine: A Front Office Assistant At A Pediatrics Resident Practice At Orlando Health Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Medicine And Be Familiar With Common Medical Terms And Procedures Used In A Pediatric Setting.
