We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Office Assistant to join our team at our Lake Mary location, part of the Orlando Health network. As a Front Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient experiences at our state-of-the-art facility.   1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the electronic scheduling system.
  4. Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary copays or fees.
  5. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  7. Communicate with physicians and medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  8. Manage and organize patient charts and medical documents.
  9. Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  10. Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Collaborate with other front office staff and medical personnel to ensure smooth operations and patient flow.
  12. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  13. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Participate in training and educational opportunities to improve job knowledge and skills.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the office manager or supervisor.
