- Oversee all food and nutrition operations at Orlando Health, including planning, preparation, and delivery of meals.
- Ensure that all food services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to food and nutrition services, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and dietary, to ensure that patient meal plans are appropriate and meet individual needs.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to food and nutrition operations, including budgeting and financial management.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in food and nutrition, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to any concerns or complaints related to food and nutrition services.

Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Food And Nutrition Principles.
Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification: Having A Cdm Certification Is Preferred For This Role, As It Showcases The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In Managing Foodservice Operations And Implementing Nutrition Policies And Procedures.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Foodservice Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In A Foodservice Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing Staff, Creating Menus, And Ensuring Food Safety And Sanitation Standards Are Met.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: Familiarity With Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Foodservice And Nutrition Is Crucial For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations, Menu Planning Guidelines, And Dietary Restrictions For Patients.
