  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition within the organization and the community.
  2. Lead a team of food and nutrition professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  3. Oversee the planning and preparation of meals for patients, ensuring that all nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop customized meal plans for patients with specific medical conditions or dietary needs.
  5. Conduct educational sessions and workshops on nutrition for patients, staff, and community members.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in food and nutrition, and incorporate new information into the organization's practices.
  8. Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations and protocols.
  9. Manage budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  10. Represent the organization at community events and engage with partners and stakeholders to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to integrate nutrition services and initiatives into overall patient care.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development for team members.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of food and nutrition services, including patient satisfaction and outcomes data.
  15. Serve as a role model for healthy eating habits and promote a positive image of the organization's food and nutrition services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Food And Nutrition Department

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Nutrition Guidelines And Regulations, As Well As Food Service Operations

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team.
