1. Provide emotional support and guidance to families and patients during their time at Orlando Health.
2. Serve as a liaison between families and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and understanding of medical procedures and treatment plans.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, patients, and healthcare team members.
4. Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized care plans for families and patients.
5. Coordinate and facilitate support groups and educational workshops for families.
6. Advocate for families and patients to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard.
7. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and services for families.
8. Document interactions and progress of families and patients in a timely and accurate manner.
9. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

11. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for families and patients.

13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and case conferences.
14. Keep up-to-date with relevant healthcare policies and procedures.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervising healthcare professionals.
