  1. Perform daily tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  2. Follow all established protocols and procedures for waste management and disposal, including hazardous materials.
  3. Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or malfunctions to the appropriate department.
  4. Conduct routine inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  5. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and standards, including infection control and safety protocols.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deep cleaning and maintenance projects.
  7. Respond promptly to any environmental emergencies, such as spills or leaks, and take appropriate action to contain and clean them.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  9. Attend training and educational workshops to stay updated on current best practices for environmental cleanliness and safety.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors, and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  11. Adhere to all Orlando Health policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  12. Continuously assess and improve upon environmental cleaning and maintenance practices to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and represent Orlando Health with integrity and dedication.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Environmental Monitoring And Compliance.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Chemistry, Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental Regulations And Standards.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Collect And Interpret Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Collaborating With Various Departments And Stakeholders At Orlando Health.
