EKG Technician - Per Diem Days

- Conduct accurate and timely electrocardiogram (EKG) readings for patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during EKG procedures.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for conducting EKGs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot EKG equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare team members, and physicians.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Document EKG results accurately in patient records.
- Monitor and report any abnormal EKG findings to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Keep updated on industry developments and advancements in EKG technology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality care to patients.

- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Attend required training and educational programs.
- Maintain current EKG Technician certification and any other required credentials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Certification In Ekg Technology: Candidates Should Have A Valid Certification In Ekg Technology From A Recognized Institution Or Organization.
Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Ekg Technician Is Preferred. This Experience Should Include Performing Ekgs, Stress Tests, And Holter Monitoring.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Familiar With The Various Types Of Ekg Equipment And Procedures.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately And Consistently Interpret Ekg Readings And Identify Abnormalities Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Work With Precision.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: As An Ekg Technician, You Will Work Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, So Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Necessary.
