
Echo / Vascular Sonographer I

- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams to assess cardiac and vascular health of patients, following established protocols and procedures.
- Perform Doppler ultrasound to measure blood flow and detect abnormalities.
- Obtain and record accurate patient history and relevant clinical information.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning by performing regular quality assurance checks.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient exams and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field
Certified As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Echo/Vascular Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting
Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Echo And Vascular Procedures, Including Doppler Studies, Stress Echocardiograms, And Carotid Duplex Scans
Knowledge Of Current Ultrasound Technology And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Maintain Equipment As Needed
