  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients according to physician's orders.
  2. Operate specialized ultrasound equipment with accuracy and precision.
  3. Obtain and record patient medical history and pertinent information.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  5. Review and evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy.
  6. Work closely with physicians to provide timely and accurate results for patient treatment plans.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  8. Maintain and organize patient records and documentation.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of ultrasound technology.
  11. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  13. Train and mentor new sonographers as needed.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Formal Education: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. A Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred.

  • Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Experience: At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms And Vascular Ultrasound Procedures Is Required. Experience With Pediatric Patients And 3D Imaging Is Preferred.

  • Technical Skills: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Ultrasound Equipment And Be Proficient In Using Various Sonography Techniques, Including 2D, 3D, And Doppler Imaging. Knowledge Of Pacs And Electronic Medical Records Systems Is Also Desired.

  • Communication And Teamwork: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment Is Also Crucial.
