  1. Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams using specialized equipment and techniques to accurately assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions.
  2. Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, abdominal, and peripheral vascular imaging.
  3. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnosis.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions or concerns.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate course of treatment based on imaging results.
  7. Keep accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed, including patient information and imaging findings.
  8. Continuously assess and improve upon technical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
  11. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  13. Troubleshoot equipment issues and notify appropriate personnel for repairs or maintenance.
  14. Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operation of the ultrasound department.
  15. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) Certification In Both Echocardiography And Vascular Sonography

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of All Aspects Of Echocardiography And Vascular Ultrasound Procedures And Techniques

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Ability To Work Well In A Team And With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
