  1. Conduct echo and vascular sonography procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  3. Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
  7. Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to diverse patient population.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure understanding of procedures and results.
  9. Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency in imaging services.
  10. Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  12. Assist with scheduling and organizing patient appointments and procedures.
  13. Attend training and educational sessions to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Flexibility to work per diem shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Valid Certification As A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) With Specialty In Both Echocardiography (Rdcs) And Vascular Ultrasound (Rvt).

  • Experience In A Hospital Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Echo/Vascular Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Anatomy And Physiology: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cardiovascular Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As The Ability To Recognize And Identify Abnormalities And Pathologies.

  • Proficient In Ultrasound Equipment And Technology: Applicants Should Be Skilled In Operating And Maintaining Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Possess Knowledge Of Various Ultrasound Techniques And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Echo/Vascular Sonographer Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
