Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Echo/Vascular Sonographer to join our Sono Pool team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Additionally, you must have at least one year of experience in performing echocardiograms and vascular sonography. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as you will be interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis.   1. Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular sonograms on patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  2. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology to obtain images and data for accurate diagnoses.
  3. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive work environment.
  4. Maintain a high level of proficiency and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in echocardiography and vascular sonography.
  5. Interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.
  6. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely information regarding patients' imaging results.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed and patient information.
  9. Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions they may have.
  10. Assist in the training and mentoring of new sonographers as needed.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
  12. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  15. Other duties as assigned by supervising physician or department manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program With A Specialization In Echocardiography And Vascular Sonography.

  • Active Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) And Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Performing Echocardiography And Vascular Sonography.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Ultrasound Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology Of The Heart And Vascular System.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members And Provide Patient Education And Support.
