- Oversee the daily operations of the OHMG Access Center to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to patients.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve access and patient satisfaction within the Access Center.
- Lead and manage a team of staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and coordinated patient care.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and quality of services.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures related to the Access Center.
- Develop and manage the budget for the Access Center, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities to enhance services and processes.
- Act as a liaison between the Access Center and other departments to facilitate communication and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
- Represent the Access Center in meetings and committees to provide updates, share insights, and make recommendations.
- Continuously monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the overall patient experience.
- Serve as a role model for staff by demonstrating excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Director Of Ohmg Access Center Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Leadership In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Have The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team, As Well As Make Strategic Decisions To Drive The Department Towards Its Goals.
Extensive Experience In Healthcare Access Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Access Management, With A Strong Understanding Of Patient Registration, Appointment Scheduling, And Insurance Verification Processes. They Should Also Have A Working Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Director, Ohmg Access Center, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Staff, And Patients. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, And The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Others.
Proficient In Data Analysis And Technology: The Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis And Be Able To Utilize Technology To Analyze And Interpret Data To Make Informed Decisions. They Should Also Have Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems And Other Relevant Healthcare Technology.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Director, Ohmg Access Center Position. A Relevant Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage The Operations Of The Access Center.
