- Oversee the daily operations of the Imaging Services department and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services to patients.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Imaging Services department.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of imaging professionals, including radiologists, technologists, and support staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to promote the services offered by the Imaging Services department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to imaging services.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets, including equipment and supply expenses.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure seamless integration of imaging services into overall patient care.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the Imaging Services department.
- Stay abreast of new technology, procedures, and industry trends to continuously enhance imaging services.
- Serve as a role model for the hospital's mission, vision, and values, promoting a culture of exceptional patient care and customer service.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within An Imaging Services Department.
Current Certification As A Radiologic Technologist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Strong Knowledge Of Imaging Technology And Equipment, Including Ct, Mri, X-Ray, And Ultrasound.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Effectively Manage Staff.
