- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the 340B program and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the 340B program, including program enrollment, drug procurement, inventory management, and program audits.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including pharmacy staff, finance, and legal teams, to ensure program integrity and adherence to program guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in 340B regulations to ensure program compliance and maximize program savings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all 340B-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including drug manufacturers and auditors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to support the 340B program.
- Conduct regular trainings and education sessions for pharmacy staff to ensure understanding and compliance with 340B program requirements.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies, as well as maintain audit readiness at all times.
- Work closely with the finance team to track and report program savings and ensure proper use of 340B program funds.
- Develop and manage the 340B program budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
- Lead and supervise a team of pharmacy staff responsible for 340B program operations.
- Represent Orlando Health at external meetings and conferences related to 340B program management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to the 340B program to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Uphold Orlando Health's mission and values, and act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior in all interactions.
Extensive Knowledge Of 340B Program Regulations And Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The 340B Program And Its Regulations, Including Federal And State Guidelines, To Ensure Proper Implementation And Compliance.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Director Of Pharmacy 340B Program, This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Effectively And Manage The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Program, Including Overseeing Staff, Budgets, And Contracts.
Experience In Pharmaceutical Purchasing And Inventory Management: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing Pharmaceutical Purchasing, Inventory, And Distribution Processes, Including Knowledge Of Drug Pricing, Contract Negotiation, And Inventory Control Systems.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Director Of Pharmacy 340B Program Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Hospital Departments, Third-Party Vendors, And Government Agencies.
