Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Health Central Hospital. This part-time position offers a second shift schedule on Thursdays and Saturdays from 3:00pm to 3:30am.   1. Perform high-quality CT scans on patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  3. Prepare and position patients for scans according to protocols.
  4. Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
  5. Follow established protocols and procedures for scanning and image acquisition.
  6. Monitor patient vitals and respond to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient scans and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret scan results.
  9. Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  11. Keep up-to-date with new technology and techniques in CT scanning.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to all patients and their families.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  14. Attend departmental meetings and participate in continuing education and training programs.
  15. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
  16. Flexible to work additional shifts or hours as needed to meet patient demand.
  17. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing Orlando Health and Health Central Hospital.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Ct Technologist: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Computed Tomography.

  • Experience In Ct Scanning: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Performing Ct Scans And Be Proficient In Using Advanced Ct Equipment And Technology.

  • Knowledge Of Safety And Protocols: Being A Ct Technologist, The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Be Able To Adhere To All Safety Guidelines While Performing Scans On Patients.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: The Job Requires Interacting With Patients Of All Ages, Backgrounds, And Medical Conditions. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Educate And Provide Comfort To Patients During The Scanning Process.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As The Job Requires Working Part-Time On Second Shift (Thursday & Saturday 3:00Pm -3:30Am), The Candidate Should Be Flexible And Available To Work These Specific Days And Hours As Per The Hospital's Schedule.
