1. Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, specifically CT scanners, to produce high-quality scans for diagnostic purposes.
2. Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
3. Administer contrast media as needed, following all safety protocols and accurately documenting information.
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
5. Monitor and assess patients' condition during and after the CT scan, reporting any adverse reactions or changes to the appropriate medical staff.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging procedures are properly documented.
7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the imaging department.
8. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all imaging equipment.
9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and techniques related to CT imaging.
