  1. Perform high-quality CT scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  2. Provide compassionate and effective patient care, ensuring their comfort and safety during the scanning process.
  3. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including patient positioning, equipment setup, and image quality.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain and review patient medical histories and determine the appropriate scan parameters.
  5. Monitor and document patient vital signs and reactions during the scanning process, promptly reporting any abnormalities or concerns to the supervising radiologist.
  6. Follow established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  7. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  8. Keep accurate records of patient scans and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on new technology, procedures, and best practices in CT scanning.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by maintaining open communication with colleagues and exhibiting a team-oriented attitude.
  12. Strive for continuous improvement and actively contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures, and protocols.
  13. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and their questions are answered.
  14. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing Orlando Health in a positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Valid Arrt Certification In Computed Tomography (Ct) Technology.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Ct Tech In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Ct Technology And Equipment, Including Experience With Ge And Siemens Machines.

  • Demonstrated Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Ct Scans, Including Routine, Specialized, And Emergency Procedures.
