- Provide advanced medical care to critically ill or injured patients during ground transport.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical direction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Document patient care and transport information accurately and thoroughly.
- Continuously assess and reassess patient needs throughout transport.
- Maintain knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow all organizational policies and procedures.
- Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the delivery of patient care.

Current Paramedic Certification: A Critical Care Ground Transport Paramedic At Orlando Health Must Hold A Valid And Current Paramedic Certification From A Nationally Recognized Certifying Body, Such As The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt).
Advanced Life Support (Als) Training: Candidates Must Have Completed An Accredited Advanced Life Support Training Program, Such As Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals).
Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician (Ccemt-P) Certification: This Advanced Certification Demonstrates A Candidate's Proficiency In Providing Critical Care During Transport, Including Advanced Airway Management, Medication Administration, And Invasive Procedures.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A High-Volume Emergency Medical Service (Ems) Setting: Orlando Health Seeks Experienced Paramedics Who Have A Proven Track Record Of Providing Quality Care In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record: As A Critical Care Ground Transport Paramedic, The Candidate Must Be Able To Safely Operate An Ambulance And Adhere To All Traffic Laws While Transporting Patients. A Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
