  1. Provide optimal pharmaceutical care to patients by utilizing clinical expertise and staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.
  3. Verify and dispense medication orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Monitor patient medication therapy for potential drug interactions, adverse effects, and appropriateness.
  5. Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  6. Maintain accurate and complete patient medication records.
  7. Educate and train pharmacy staff on new medications and protocols.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  9. Adhere to all state and federal laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Keep up-to-date on insurance formularies and assist with prior authorizations when necessary.
  12. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy plans.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  14. Stay current on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve patient care and pharmacy operations.
  15. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School.

  • Current And Active License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of Florida.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Pharmacy Experience In A Hospital Setting.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Drug Therapy And Pharmacotherapy Guidelines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Patients.
