- Conduct and manage clinical research studies in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to identify potential research participants and recruit them for studies
- Obtain informed consent from research participants and ensure they fully understand the study procedures and potential risks
- Develop and maintain study protocols, case report forms, and other essential study documents
- Collect and manage data from study participants, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate study visits and procedures, including scheduling appointments, administering study interventions, and collecting and processing biological samples
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study progress and results
- Communicate regularly with the research team, providing updates on study progress and any issues that arise
- Attend and actively participate in study team meetings and trainings
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements, and FDA regulations
- Assist with the preparation of study reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Train and mentor other team members, including research assistants and coordinators, as needed
- Act as a liaison between the research team and study participants, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Stay current on developments and advancements in the field of oncology and clinical research to continuously improve study processes and outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare Or Science-Related Field, Such As Biology, Nursing, Or Clinical Research
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research Coordination, Preferably In An Oncology Setting
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Workload
Proficiency In Data Management And Analysis, Including Experience With Electronic Data Capture Systems And Statistical Software.
