Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Quality Specialist to join our team at Orlando Health. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality care for our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients. As a vital member of our WPH Quality team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our clinical quality standards. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.   1. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for the NICU.
  2. Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
  3. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  4. Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement processes and procedures.
  5. Serve as a resource and consultant for staff on quality-related issues and best practices.
  6. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and measure the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Facilitate multidisciplinary quality improvement teams to address specific issues and drive quality improvements.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to clinical quality and incorporate them into quality improvement strategies.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to implement evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the quality team and other departments to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  11. Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures related to clinical quality.
  12. Communicate and present quality improvement initiatives and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  13. Conduct regular reviews and audits of processes and systems to identify potential areas for improvement.
  14. Assist with the preparation and submission of quality-related reports to regulatory bodies.
  15. Actively participate in quality improvement committees and initiatives within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Nicu Setting

  • Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Processes And Tools, Such As Lean And Six Sigma

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Quality Metrics And Data Analysis

  • Experience Leading And Facilitating Quality Improvement Initiatives Within A Healthcare Setting.
