  1. Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific medication therapy plans.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patients' response to medications, making necessary adjustments to ensure safe and effective drug therapy.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication profiles and drug interactions.
  6. Stay current on new medications, treatments, and developments in the field of clinical pharmacy.
  7. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and medication management.
  8. Act as a resource for healthcare staff regarding medication-related inquiries and concerns.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
  10. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental and hospital committees.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to pharmacy students and residents.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and medication storage guidelines.
  14. Adhere to ethical principles and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited College Of Pharmacy

  • Current And Active State Licensure As A Pharmacist In Florida

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Pharmacy Experience In A Hospital Setting

  • Board Certification In A Relevant Specialty Such As Pharmacotherapy Or Ambulatory Care

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Healthcare Teams And Patients.
