  1. Oversee daily operations of a unit and ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  2. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement unit goals, policies, and procedures.
  3. Provide support and guidance to nurses on the unit, including mentoring and coaching.
  4. Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and appropriate utilization of resources.
  6. Monitor and manage unit budget to ensure financial goals are met.
  7. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  8. Serve as a role model for nursing staff by demonstrating compassionate and high-quality patient care.
  9. Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for nursing staff.
  10. Stay current with healthcare industry trends and best practices in nursing.
  11. Assist with ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  12. Respond to and resolve patient and family concerns and complaints.
  13. Identify and assist in addressing any issues that may affect patient safety and quality of care.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement initiatives for improving patient outcomes.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for nursing staff.
  16. Assist with the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
  17. Participate in meetings and committees related to unit operations and patient care.
  18. Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  19. Contribute to the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve unit operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution; Master's Degree In Nursing Or Healthcare Administration Preferred.

  • Current Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida Or Ability To Obtain License Within 3 Months Of Hire.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Team Members And Provide Guidance To Nursing Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Nursing Standards, Best Practices, And Regulatory Requirements, Including Joint Commission And Osha Regulations.
